Hello! My name is Molly Nelson and I'm currently a Master in Library Science student at the University of Southern Mississippi. I have a background in film & video production and I've been involved in libraries for the last four years! I spent several years as a youth services librarian at a public library where I created all kinds of programs for kids, including STEAM programs, chess club, escape rooms, a murder mystery parties! There are endless ways to get kids of all ages engaged in learning at the library, and I'm here to show you how!

This site is a jumping-off point for librarians who may be stuck trying to figure out how to teach STEAM to kids. Maybe you're brand new at it, and that's great! There's nothing to fear when it comes to teaching STEAM to kids - they're already naturally curious. You might be surprised to find the kids teach you just as much as you teach them! So have fun!
